What do smelling salts do?
The strong ammonia scent stimulates the airways and may provide a short-term boost in alertness, focus, and intensity. Smelling salts are commonly used before heavy lifts or other short, intense physical performances.
How do I activate and use smelling salts?
Add half a capful of water to the container, close the lid, and shake for approximately 30 seconds. Open the container away from your face. Hold it around 10–15 cm from your nose and inhale carefully. The product only needs to be activated once.
Are smelling salts safe?
Smelling salts are generally considered safe when used correctly and in moderation. Avoid frequent use and contact with the eyes, mouth, or skin. Use only in a well-ventilated area and always follow the instructions and warnings on the label. Recommended for ages 14 and above.
